We're a small team of senior engineers who decided that staying small was the point rather than a stage to grow out of.
why small
Larger firms sell you the people who pitched and staff you with the people who were free. We don't have a bench, so the engineers in the first meeting are the engineers on the work. It limits how much we can take on, which is the trade we've chosen.
how we work
we read before we recommend
No proposal goes out before we've been in the code. An estimate written from a requirements document is a guess with a number attached.
we ship in increments you can use
Every two weeks there's something running in an environment you can click through. If a project is going badly, that's when you find out — early, and with the option to stop.
we plan to leave
A dependency on us is a failure mode, not a business model. Tests, runbooks, decision records, and paired sessions are part of the work, not an optional final phase that gets cut.
we say when we're the wrong fit
If your problem isn't a .NET or Azure problem, or if what you need is twenty contractors, we'll tell you and point you somewhere better.
where we are
Based in Chicago, working with teams across North America and Europe. Remote by default, on site when the work genuinely needs a room.
